Our OrganizationsMinnesota Civil Air PatrolThe MN Wing Headquarters Training and Maintenance Facility is located on South St Paul Fleming Field Airport and is available for training with prior arrangements. All scheduling of either the terminal building or hanger for training events should be done through the Wing Administrator, by calling the Wing Headquarters (651)-291-0462 Visit Site: http://www.mncap.org/ Commemorative Air Force - Minnesota WingBased at Fleming Field, the CAF is dedicated to the preservation and education of aviation, aircraft, and other historically important artifacts. The Wing participates in numerous civic events and functions per year and sponsors several educational activities. New members and volunteers are always encouraged and welcome to become a part of the Minnesota Wing. Call 651-455-6942 Wed/Sat Visit Site: www.cafsmw.org EAA Chapter 1164One of two local EAA chapters based here at Fleming Field. EAA Chapter 1164 meets the 2nd Tuesday of every month at 6:30 pm. November - March they meet at the terminal building and April - October they move to a hangar on the north side of the field. For more information contact: Visit Site: http://www.eaa.org/1164 EAA Chapter 1229 EAA chapter 1229 is the second chapter based here at Fleming Field. EAA Chapter 1229 meets the 3rd Tuesday of every month at 7 pm. here at the terminal building. The chapter also provides Young Eagle Rides for kids ages 8-17 in the spring and fall during their pancake breakfast. The FFAA looks out for the best interest of airport users and promotion of the airport as a whole. The FFAA meets the 1st tuesday of the month on even months at 7 p.m. For more information contact: Prescott Flying ClubThe Prescott Flying Club was established in 1968 at a small grass strip in Prescott, Wisconsin with a single Cessna 150. In the 1970s the club gradually added to the fleet and membership. Now located at Fleming Field year-round, our club has 48 members and four airplanes. Our fleet of four aircraft consists of a Piper Warrior, Piper Archer and two retractable gear Piper Arrows. To join or for more infomation: Visit Site: http://www.prescottflying.com/ Minnesota Seaplane Pilots AssociationPromotes seaplane flying and safety programs pertaining to seaplane operation throughout the State of Minnesota, promotes a forum for the purpose of approaching governmental agencies, to educate said agencies, the legislature and the public in the understanding of seaplane operation, and to create safe and compatible seaplane base facilities in the State of Minnesota. Visit Site: www.mnseaplanes.org/ Twin Cities Aero HistoriansThe Twin City Aero Historians meet on the second Saturday of each month at Fleming Field in South Saint Paul. Meetings start at 1:30 pm. Meeting activities include club contests, speakers, raffle and "show and tell" where members bring their latest models and talk about them.
