This Saturday, March 21st, the SSP Annual Food Drive Collection was to take place at Southview Square. We will NOT be collecting nonperishable food items for Neighbors, Inc this year...….instead we suggest going to the Neighbors, Inc Website and make a donation. Donate online @ www.neighborsmn.org/donate or mail a donation to Neighbors’ Inc, 222 Grand Avenue West, South St. Paul, MN 55075. Make sure you add it is for the 55075 food drive.

Read Across South St. Paul is back for its 18th season. The 2019-2020 Read Across South St. Paul will kick off on Friday, October 4th at Lincoln Center and Kaposia Education.
The first Friday of each month has been designated Read Across South St. Paul in the Elementary Schools. This is a partnership between the City and School District making it truly a community program. Volunteers have the opportunity to read to students at Lincoln Center and/or Kaposia Education Center in a classroom setting. Read Across South St. Paul times are 9:00 at Lincoln Center and 9:30 am at Kaposia Education Center.
Books will be provided each month relating to the theme. Read Across South St. Paul takes about 30 minutes each month and a great way to give back to the community.

The council meetings are open to the public and you have the opportunity to address the City Council during the Citizens Comments portion of the agenda. On the first Monday of the month the EDA will meet following the Council Meeting.

The Annual Giant Egg Hunt has been cancelled out of concern and in compliance with Stay Home MN and the transmission of COVID-19. In collaboration with the Special School District 6 and a generous donation from the South St. Paul Lions Club, the pre-filled eggs from the event will be distributed through the school nutrition program the week of April 6th.
No registration required. This is a free community event.

Skilled volunteers help you figure out what's wrong and fix your broken items. Clinics build community and reduce the amount of stuff thrown in the trash.

Fare for all express will be held from 4:00-6:00 p.m. on the following Tuesdays in 2020:January 28th, February 25th, March 24th, April 28th, May 26st, June 23rd, July 28th, August 25th, September 29th, October 27th, November 24th and December 22nd at Central Square Community Center. Fare for all is open to everyone! There are no income-based requirements for participation. Participation in fare for all express does not affect your eligibility to receive assistance from the food-shelf. Bring your family, friends and neighbors along, they can’t afford to miss these great savings! Fare for all Express packages contain a variety of healthy, fresh, quality food items, including fruits, vegetables, frozen meats and staple items. There is no limit to the number of packages that can be purchased each month.

The clothing is fun, beautiful, fashionable and affordable! After the show, enjoy a delicious lunch catered by Magnolias, followed by dessert.
