The SSP Farmers' Market runs from 2:00 to 6:00 at 12th and Southview. There will be a variety of fresh produce each week. The South St. Paul Farmers’ Market is Thinking Green in South St. Paul and asking the patrons to bring re-usable bags, baskets, or containers to bring their purchases in. Did you know the average American family uses 1,500 plastic bags per year and on average, the plastic bags are used for only 11 minutes. Thinking Green in South St. Paul.

Swimming Under the Stars will take place starting June 19th at Northview Pool from 7:30 to 9:30 pm thanks to the South St. Paul Mayor's Youth Task Force.
$2.00 per person and parents get in for free (with child).

On Tuesday, August 6, 2019, the South St. Paul Mayor's Youth Task Force will kick off the 19th Annual “Fill the Backpack" Campaign for students in need at the local schools in South St. Paul. The SSP Mayor’s Youth Task Force has received a generous donation from the Mizpah Lodge #191 to purchase backpacks. The Task Force is asking neighborhoods, organizations, groups, or individuals to purchase school supplies to fill the backpacks. Bring your donations to the South St. Paul City Hall and place in the barrel located in the lobby. Once the backpacks are filled, they will be given to the schools to distribute to the students in need in the SSP School District so ALL students can start the school year off with a filled backpack! The Fill the Backpack" Campaign will run the month of August.
